Time grabs you by the wrist, directs you where to go. So make the best of this test, and don’t ask why. It’s not a question, but a lesson learned in time. It’s something unpredictable, but in the end it’s right. I hope you had the time of your life. – Good Riddance – Green Day
I spent one wonderful weekend with my college friends. I am so grateful that we’ve been friends for what – almost a decade! Recent pictures are here.
[Part I] It was fun to travel and visit hometown in a group. Was with Enah, Chris, Rj, Francis, and Jay. Dell fetched and accompanied me to the terminal.
[Part II] City of Naga. We headed straight to Funeraria Imperial. It’s so hard to believe that our friend indeed is dead. The outdoor black sign with his name on it gave us cold creeps. Breakfast at Biggs. Took a nap. Then headed afterwards to Ateneo. Preparation of slide shows, videos, choir, mass songs and our small tribute to Butch. The last night and funeral mass for Butch’s was held at the Ateneo church. Spent the whole night there. Our last overnight with him. We used to have overnights before such as outings, group study, programming assignments, and gimik nights.
[Part III] White day. Last glance. Tears. Sadness. We managed to laugh and have crazy moments though. Butch hated it when we cry. He’s such a happy-no-dull person. That’s why we continued to have fun. He wanted us to be like that. Thus, we still had the gimik that night at San Felipe. Reminiscing moments, of laughters, of bittersweet memories, shared views, revived memories, wishful thinkings then the reality of oblivion.
[Part IV] Back to the city. With Enah, Chris and Jomar.
What I have here are happy accidents designs, free verse in spontaneity, unconventional shots, twisted angle and unsung beauty of whatever-ness.
