The list of Philippine Blog Awards 2007 is now out. This time, I’m not part of it. I dare not join because I don’t have the consistency, appeal and the mileage thing. Bleh. (Edited: Oops, someone nominated me though…hmm) Anyway, for the past 2 consecutive years I was part of the old philippine blog awards. I was a bit lucky for being one of the finalist, and the top 3 winners. Ok, but that was before.

The old Philipping Blog Awards that I’m talking about is the project of Alwell way way back, ahm I forgot the year. It’s a personal project that’s why there’s no strict criterias, awarding ceremony and such. The used to be domain is philippineblogawards.com which now points to a porno site, hehe. I don’t know what happen. Alwell is so busy with his business, I guess, that he no longer even blog. The only time that I have a chance to text/email him is when I inform him that I already paid the hosting and domain. Anyway, he is Yuga’s friend. They’re one of my first cyber friends years ago, the grabeh.com moments ( I feel old, hehe), those times when Yuga was just an ordinary (not pro) blogger, working as an employee and not yet the Philippine blogosphere’s most famous.

Now, the Phil Blog Awards is back (like a resto that is under new management). And it’s different this time. There’ll be judges, sponsors, awarding ceremony, food, etc. Check the site regularly for more updates and maybe surprises.
