Sometimes I wonder which of these two is right: Live to work or Work to live.
I guess the latter is most applicable to me coz I, as a breadwinner, can’t definitely live without working. That’s why I make sure I spend some time and money to treat myself also (which happens everyday, haha) Not really. Hmm, maybe make it monthly.
Once a month, I indulge myself in going to spa / full body massage. Been so into it for almost a year already. An ordinary individual would consider it as a want already (non basic needs) but in my case, I need it badly. It helps to rejuvenate myself and treat my muscle pains, back aches and the leg /foot cramps. Plus the fact that I also have abnormal circulation. I used to think I was anemic coz I’m kinda pale but the doctor told me I’m not but rather it has something to do with the blood circulation. So that makes spa/ full body massage as one of my basic needs. Heh, gastos.
Ok, what else? I love watching movies too and I’m afraid it happens weekly (every new movie) haha.
40% of my salary also goes to milk, bread, burgers, chocolates, oats, cakes, pizza. Good thing, I don’t gain weight easily that’s why I’m not afraid to eat and eat. Every once in awhile I also allow myself in solitude. No friends, no boyfriend. I would dare myself to go alone in a certain fine dine resto. Simply sit, relax and eat the good food. It feels great, you can try it sometime.
Then books comes next. I love booksale. Reading books makes me forget the reality of my life’s labyrinth. For awhile, it transforms me to a new character living a different life in a different world.
The only thing that I hate about treating myself is – me, being an impulsive shopper. Never show me that sexy chic Freeway top coz I’ll surely instantly buy it.
Ohwell. So much for yuppie lifestyle.

WORK TO LIVE for me. I definitely don’t live for work… well, not these days, anyway. I’ve changed a lot from my corporate climbing rat days.
But if you changed that to “Eat to Live… or Live to Eat?”… I’d have a harder time deciding my answer, hehe.

Live to rakenrol naman ‘yung sa’kin.
Ay teka, wrong. :p
“Heartbreak: Stories that will stay with you longer than your ex did.” Malamang makita mo ako du’n. =)

Tama ka Riz, you’ll spend ur lifetime climbing the corporate ladder. Kung di talaga mag-take ng risk mag-business, masyadong mababa ang odds para umasenso.
