October is such an emo month. It’s time to move on. Walk forward Liz, there are more important things in this world. Go, renew your faith for it will not help you discover the secrets of moon and stars if you remain cynical.

So let’s start with the updates.

Hacking. Months ago, someone hacked my NewMaria domain deleting all the files I have. Then a week after that, I found a hip hop mp3 stored in a folder.

Yesterday, while I was checking my disk space for this domain, I noticed that the images folder is empty. All images & portfolio collections are gone. Imagine the agony of re-uploading backup files again.

This hacker has something that… oh I don’t know. Be kind, please.

Filipina. New Maria needs a revamp. For the 9th time. I am trying to squeeze her in to my very busy schedule. There are plans waiting to be implemented.

Contest. The first checkpoint of Paradise Philippines Bayanihan SEO contest is fast approaching. Good luck to all the participants! Also, finalist of Philippine Web Awards is now out.

Projects. The long holiday of November was spent working with a Bed & Breakfast design project. I’m rushing to finish everything before the peso-dollar rate reach 40 and below.

Ranking. Suddenly, I am no longer excited about rankings. This fast-phased busy world is hindering me to socialize, interact and join link building. Ratified or not, it doesn’t matter.

There are also issues about some radical changes in Google Page Rank. A lot of specialist said that it is no longer a valid measure of a site’s relevance. But if you are making money, PR does matter since advertisers requires it.

Good thing, this domain stays in Page Rank 5. New Maria Community and Paradise Philippines are both Page Rank 4.

Online Transactions. Paypal is still denying my EON card (must go to bank to deposit funds first, as per Jozzua). No rush in widthrawing my earnings though. I think it is better that way – an excuse for me to save.

Trivia: I still have my first ever TLA U.S cheque. I wonder if it has an expiration date (?). It’s been months / almost a year and I did not yet encash or deposit it.

Must Savings. In lieu to the mentioned online earnings, I’ve decided to consider them as savings together with the freelance design income. Let the full time job salary take charge of all the expenses, cash outs and liabilities.
