Barefooted

Finally a new blog theme that fits the current mood. It took me almost 3 months to finally realize that I need to have a new design since it’s already a brand new year. Yeah, I know I’m that late and it’s already summer!

I had several concepts few weeks back – basically, the idea was to create something that will suit the bride-to-be mode… so I made several drafts but I wasn’t satisfied with the look and feel. The usage of patterns, script fonts, flowers and other too mushy elements makes it appear like a wedding website.

So I decided to do something simple, clean, and maybe alternative hippy that is why this time it includes Bayawas, my Epi guitar.

Green and Brown.
And what’s with the colors? – that’s in accordance with our motif.

Behind the Design.

It’s about a daddy’s girl who is getting ready to step out of her comfort zone as she starts to bid bye to her own room, stuff toys, waking up late, step-mom who do the laundry, cooked food, breakfast on the table and other homemade freebies.

She goes back to zero, barefoot, nada – for the life that she’ll starting soon is something new to her. The car with a cool windshield symbolizes travel- – on her journey, she will bring with her the memories of childhood, teenage years, and she must not forget her top two fave things in her room: her guitar and shoes…

With regards to the wedding website, argh it is still pending. When the fiance went out of the country for a month project- I said I’ll be keeping myself busy and will finish it – hah but to no avail. Month of April is fast approaching and we only have 8 months before the wedding day. Rush, rush – a lot of things are waiting in our to-do list.

Congratulations to the top new lawyers from University of Nueva Caceres (Naga City, my hometown in Bicol). It is where my parents, brothers and sister graduated. I also studied there 5 years (elementary) before I went to Universidad De Sta.Isabel (hs) and Ateneo de Naga University (degree).

(Note: Ignore the namedroppingness, it’s for SEO sake that’s why. Hehe.)

P.S Two of my best buddies (one from high school & college) passed the bar. Atty. Allan Reiz Macaraig and Atty. Francis Rael Bitara. Yay, congratulations!

A new hobby and yeah of course a new blogsite for me again. Argh, I just can’t get enough eh? This time I’ll be experimenting how to show and reveal the hues and saturated poetic sides of captured cherished moments – such things exist you know lolz , go figure.
