Last year’s engagement gave us an exactly a year of preparation for a December wedding this year. Now it’s down to 7 months only. And we’re not yet even done with the 1/4 of our to-do list…panic, panic.

I’m such a crammer. I had proven bad habits of studying 35 mins. before an exam, designing websites few hours before the deadline and going to salon for a hair & make-up at 2pm for a 3pm friend’s wedding.

Our upcoming wedding is the only event in my life that I won’t cram. Hopefully. I already warned myself that for-goodness-sake, I cannot treat this wedding like an examination day or a thesis project! Crossing the bridge when you get there is really not a good philosophy this time.

The budget and expenses is stressful as well. We are now just putting our faith to, whoever who said, that when a couple is preparing for the wedding, somehow things will all fall into place. We really hope so. Besides I have several friends already who got married with just a span of 2-3 months preparation. It’s really amazing how they can get the available resources and budget that fast.

Also, the fiance and I decided not to disclose any specific wedding details, suppliers, prices, maybe lie about it or whatever to friends and even family to keep the surprise element and to avoid issues and comparisons as well.
