From my Johari window, 58% of the participants thinks that I’m cheerful.
In short, mababaw. Actually, bentang benta nga sa akin yung mga jokes sa forum. Heh. But only those who are close to me can attest how I really love to laugh. The rest, outside my circle, always thinks of me as someone that is suplada, maarte, whatever.
And times like this, I wonder if do I really need to explain myself and tell each and everyone else that “hey, believe me I’m not the worst person you’ve ever met”
It is just so funny how people can easily judge without considering underlying factors behind and doing some reality check.
Let me check these realities for you.
The reality is – everywhere you go there will ways be that that someone whom, for some reasons, you don’t like. Yes? It may be in a form of cruel boss, bitch classmate, unreasonable friend or insecure colleague, etc. But how will you deal with it? Should you let it affect you in general? No, you don’t. You definitely can’t live your whole life wasting your time hating the person. There’s more to life than that.
So basically, it all boils down again to – respecting individual’s differences. Learn to adjust to different kinds of personality. You don’t expect others to be the same as you think and feel. And yes, you don’t assume they will change just to please you. Doing such is a selfish act because you are focusing only on what you feel and your own drama without considering the other side of the situation.
I guess this is one of the problems with our Filipino culture. We tend to be so sensitive on every little thing in this world. Feeling laging inaapi.
Life is good you know, in spite and despite of these human flaws and imperfection.
What I have here are happy accidents designs, free verse in spontaneity, unconventional shots, twisted angle and unsung beauty of whatever-ness.
