Yes I have to emphasize that.
Been calling them for ages and it’s really pissing me off. I tried to dial other locals like – press 1 for credit cards, press 2 for etc. and then I asked the CSR if she can entertain online banking inquiries because I cannot access my account or maybe if she can transfer me to the EON section (or whatever it is). She said she can’t and that I have to press 5.
Miss, I’ve been pressing 5 for more than 10 days already and no one is answering!
Also, 16 days ago, I have this withdrawal transaction from Paypal to EON. 16 days ago, that same transaction was already completed on Paypal’s part but not on Unionbank EON. I went to Unionbank branch office and informed them about it – but the bank staff didn’t know what Paypal is!!! And that I should just call their hotline instead. Argh, naman!
I continued to press / and still pressing 5 again – but to no avail. Hopeless.

Why don’t you withdraw your funds to your local bank account (not to Eon)? I’m not having problems with BPI and Chinabank. :)

i hate unionbank as well, been calling their customer service for so many times and no one is answering… kasumpa-sumpa talaga…

Same prob I am having. My withdrawal from Paypal which was completed last Sept 11 hasn’t been reflected in my Unionbank account yet. It’s been more than a month. Grabeh! Walang assistance from them. Let me know pag natanggap mo na yun sau. :)

i hate them too… i have been calling them since they charged me with an annual fee for a credit card that i never received! what a security system!

I withdraw my funds from paypal last Oct. 29, 2008 and I’m waiting for it. It says it takes 3-4 days, well I’ll check it out if it is true. This will be my first time to withdraw my funds from Paypal to my EON Visa Card. I have my Visa card from Malaysia which is PUBLIC BANK Visa Electron and it takes 4 days only to transfer my funds from Paypal. Hopefully, EON will do the same!

SUCCESS! I finally got my money from Paypal to UNION EON VISA CARD. I withdraw last Oct 29, 2008 and I get my Money on November 2, 2008. This is awesome!

HAhaha sinabi nyo p…walang kwenta ung CSR ng union bank , baka naglagay lagay lng ng hotline masabi lang n may Customer Care Service … hindi dapat Customer Care Service tawag dun… Customer WACare Service… and another saglit lang bank fund transfers sa ibang banko kapag from other country , eh sa union matutulog k ng mga atleast 4 to 6 days bago mo p makuha…

EON Application …. sabi “mostly 2 to 3 weeks”… nag apply kami nung november 11 ..nakuha nmin ung EON Card december 6 :))… almost a month bago nmin nakuha ung card

ask ko lang po sana… baka may idea po kayo sa problem ko medyo off-topic siya pero related pa rin naman po sa union bank.
na-block po kasi ako sa online web services nila.. because of inputting (consecutive) 3 wrong passwords… so ni-assume ko na wait na lang ako after 24 hrs to log-in again.. pero till today ndi pa rin ako maka-login.. invalid user id daw… pero sure ako na yun ag gamit kung user id dati pa..
iniisip ko na lang na baka blocked pa rin siya till now..
ndi naman po ako makatawag sa hotline kasi wala po ako sa pinas ngyon.. at need ko pang magpakabit ng phone or something..
baka lang po naranasan nyo po yung situasyon ko may idea po ba kayo kung ano ang dapat gawin .. …
kung tatawag naman po sa hotline.. may idea po ba kayo kung ano yung mga needed info na hihingin nila.. or name lang ng account holder ok na po?
i now remember the password, yung user id na lang yuug problem ko.. ndi ko sure talaga kung blocked pa rin at talagang need tumawag or na -reset siya or something..

@ariel, I used to have the same problem and I’m sorry to say pero ang solusyun lang is to call them..which is nakakaloka talaga hehe..just prepare your personal info details. yun lang naman usual queries nila :) hope this helps

i got debited from another bank. the bank advised me to coordinate with union bank kasi affiliated nila ang gsis card… my case na rin bang ganito? at naibalik ba sa inyo yung money

i hate them too. very poor customer service. here in insular life building unionbank branch, the tellers were not as helpful. they were even irritated when people ask. and they are not symphathetic in the long queue. nobody is taking care of the clients and to ease up the long lines. it will take you more than an hour to process your transaction.
