Starting Monday right. Woke up early, not late for work, delicious breakfast, good laugh and a proof that love and positive thoughts still exist in this world.

Hard life.

Naririnig ko ‘to lagi sa mga relatives, uncles, even sa Papa ko whenever we have those parties, family reunion – sobrang cliche na nga eh.

Mahirap nga ang buhay and I, myself had my fair share of those two words while I was studying and coping with teenage angst.

Walang pamasahe.
Promissory note sa Ateneo.
Sakto lang allowance.
Walang project, books at pang-laboratory fee.
Sa bahay na lang mag-meryenda.
Naputulan pa nga ng kuryente.

Even before I was born, poverty exist already and it will always be unless we do something about the usual Pinoy attitude – the bad habit of whining and comparing. Masyadong sensitive, maraming reklamo sa buhay, hindi makuntento at nahihirapan maka-move on.

Nagsisimula kasi sa simple yan. For example, kung wala kang naging selebrasyon at nakalimutan ng tatay mo ang 16th birthday mo – dapat move on. Kasi kapag hindi ka nakapag-move on, magiging bitter at insecure ka sa buhay na pwedeng ikasira ng relasyon mo sa kapwa, mawawalan ka ng gana, kooperasyon sa trabaho at sa komunidad.

Kapag nangyari yun – magiging galit ka sa mundo. Tuloy, puro reklamo ang nasa isip mo, gusto mong maalis sa pwesto ang lahat ng Presidente, feeling mo inaapi ka ng kapitbahay mo, mai-inggit, magpapa-pansin , magiging e-pal hanggang sa lahat ng tao inis na sa pagmumukha mo.

Anong nangyari? Wala. Zero unity. Walang aasenso sa attitude na ganyan.
