What are your wishes for the new year?
Continuous abundant blessings, good health, business, everlasting love and happiness…cheers to a brand new year with this wine of the month.
The new year started 13 days ago and unlike everyone else, I’m late because I’m only beginning to appreciate 2009 today, with this brand new something-yellow site design of mine.
I must admit it’s hard to let go 2008. The whole year of wedding planning, wonderful events and memories of the December wedding are one of the things that I miss most. Now, I feel like half of my world is stagnant because the severe busy atmosphere is gone.
Meaning, it’s time to go back to regular programming :)
Hookay, so why yellow? Because the superstitious side of me strikes again. It’s the new year’s lucky color! Me and the fiance hubby were even wearing the said color last new year’s eve :p nyahaha.
I am really not a fan of yellow or any specific color at all…for me it has its own pros and cons depending how saturated the color is.
Like how I adore dark yellow calla lillies as my wedding bouquet, or a pale yellow shoes but hating a bright yellow if it’s a bedsheet, handkerchief or pants :p
Aside from the changes in color, there will be new additions to this site and life in general as well.
To this site: I’ll be adding a new blog category called WedDay Flashbacks :p to welcome entries about details and other kwentos of our wedding day. I know how boring a super long narrative entry is that’s why I’ll be discussing them in chunks (using a creative non-fiction style).
To life in general: Well, let’s reserve that to the next blog entry :)
For now, I have to drag myself away from too much vacation, too much sleeping and too much DVD series! Be reminded that there’s a large board of productivity to-do list which includes: day job, pending freelance projects, blog advertising to maintain, business to start and bank accounts to fill.
Oh well.
Have a healthy, happy & blessed new year to all of us.
P.S
You can now check this link – click here – now open to public. While we we’re on wedding planning stage, it was set to private, to avoid jinx and keep the surprise element of major details.
Also, bid bye to below’s 2008 wellwhatever’s design :( Notice how fetish I am with the shoes, legs and feet images :p)

Note: Include owning one of these Fossil watches to your new year’s wish list :)
What I have here are happy accidents designs, free verse in spontaneity, unconventional shots, twisted angle and unsung beauty of whatever-ness.
