Work up late this morning. Sigh. Want to know how I knew it? Take a guess? It is because Showtime is currently aired on TV. Imagine it’s already 10:30 in the morning! My husband approached me and asked what do I like to eat for breakfast. I told him that an oatmeal breakfast with a chocolate drink would be great. The Oatmeal was good but something tastes different with the choco. I’m definitely sure it’s not Milo. He told me that he bought it in Pan de Manila after seeing it in one of their posters the other day. Hmm yummy it is!
After breakfast, we continued watching Showtime. He noticed that Kim Bang regularly wears custom shirts with Pilipino printed concepts. Sometimes it says “Pinoy Ako” while sometimes it’s the Philippine map or flag. He started reminiscing the time when we first visited Boracay. It was way back year 2008 during our honeymoon. He saw some Korean tourist couple wearing these beautifully designed and funny t-shirts complementing each other. He refers to them as “lover’s clothes”. Haha.
It seems that these concept designed shirts are a hit nowadays. One Pinoy entrepreneur was interviewed the other night regarding his new business. His idea was to use the social networking site Facebook’s famous relationship status as prints for his shirts. The design is simple yet catchy! For this reason, he’s been receiving a lot of orders not only across the country but around the world. Really a good business to start with.
Saint Nick, as Ryan Bang would say it.. I lily lily like it! Wish wish :)
What I have here are happy accidents designs, free verse in spontaneity, unconventional shots, twisted angle and unsung beauty of whatever-ness.
