Looklet – another fashion site, like Polyvore, where you can play mix and match clothes again! I am beginning to love this Looklet because of it’s minimal design and you can choose your own model. It also has 3 views from front, back and a portrait. Cool app!

Here’s my first simple set – cool and cold :p because I have colds right now and scarfs and jackets are essentials BUT I don’t think I can wear totally wrap, so excuse the shorts :p

Shoes that I dont/cant wear by ladyshwalla

Expensive, yeah true, but for me these thin tall pointed heels are scary. It looks uncomfortable. Well, it is 100% uncomfortable. I can imagine the agony of wearing them! I’m also not a fan of that certain pattern and the silver thingy.

I guess girls who has problems with their height were a fan of above. As for myself, I’ll stick with the flats, not too high stilettos, doll shoes, sneakers, flip flops and maybe some Ugg womens shoes.

TGIF Shorts Day

This is my usual TGIF and weekend’s fave outfit :p Wearing same shorts in different styles. The sorta casual look and the one that with a simple havs flipflops. I’m such a fan of shorts because it’s the most easy, light and comfortable clothes to wear . Yup, even if it’s no longer summer.

And yes you can use it for your Friday night date or gimik. Simply change into a more sexy casual top, with a cardigan and then match it with a flat shoes, heels or even boots :p

Unpredictable weather: What to wear

Simple rugged outfit on a rainy sunny windy day. This crazy weather cannot make up it’s mind lately. It’s ruining your weekend getaway…so in order to cope, above set are essentials for me. (if you are looking for an umbrella, it’s inside the bag :p) But there’s sunglasses also in case it’s sunny. Cameras are a must because moments are meant to be captured. A book in case you get bored. And a mini laptop just in case you need to research something before buying a new gadget, treadmill, shoes, etc. Also, just so you can update your Yoville and won’t miss Farm Town harvest time on Facebook :p

How I wish life is like Facebook’s fashion wars wherein you can easily earn money simply by clicking those “do jobs” button. And then the energy refill is just a minute away enabling you to do more jobs by attending events like: film premiere, hollywood party, clothing line launch and runway fashion show! All of those events are possible in just one click as long as you have the essentials, perks and vehicles.

You can also fight and showdown with other fashionistas! A decrease on your stamina but at least you’ll have a chance to win money and popularity. You can also bitchslap someone who kept on attacking you and getting your money.

Lastly, you can also live a yoga diva kind of life by simply investing on properties and just wait for your 54 minutes income. Now that you have all the money from doing the jobs and properties income – spend all of them to shop, shop and shop!!

Life indeed is so easy on fashion wars. With all the money, it is now easy for you to afford travel, vacations and hotels like Sahara hotel.

Hah. okay I must admit, I’m addicted :p

Aside:
I hope Facebook will add more options of fashionably clothes though. Also, food and booze! We may have the energy, stamina and good health but where’s the food??

Summer Essentials

I was about to catch some sleep until I realized that it’s been a long time since I made a polyvore set. So here it is – a perfect set for summer (may kasama pang Halo-halo! :p).

For me, this is the best relax summer clothes…something simple, combo of green+white+pink, pretty and zero jewelries. People should stop wearing jewelries anyway , it is no longer IN! ( An engagement and/or wedding ring is fine)

Trivia: Blair and Serena of Gossip Girls rarely wear jewelries (even a wristwatch).

Nowadays, the emphasis is on fashionable attractive clothes. Showing off some skin. Good hair. Glossy lips, zero to less make up and then that’s it – you’re all set for a summer weekend getaway!

Optional things to bring: Pending books you need to finish or your laptop if you still want to work but if possible – leave those technology gadgets at home. It’s time to go to beach, nature tripping – unwind and clear your mind from all the work pressures and life’s anxiety.

Project Runway Philippines Season 2

A busy Monday date for me means Project Runway. Been watching the Season 1 Replay of PR Philippines at ETC and I am looking forward to Season 2!

That is why calling all the fashion designers…this is a final call for you guys!! On March 5, 2009 10am-6pm (this coming Friday) go and visit their office at The Studio, Upper Basement, Solar Century Tower 100 Tordesillas cor. Dela Costa Sts., Salcedo Village, Makati City.

And don’t forget to bring the following:
1) Resume
2) 3 outfits that you personally designed
3) Portfolio (CD or hard copy)
4) 3-minute video telling why you deserve to be part of the show.

First polyvore set for this year… starting with, of course, the lucky color of 2009, yellow! :p

Polyvore Set details: Osol smocked sleeveless top, daisies mini skirt by Wet Seal, strappy casual sandals, yellow feather drop earring, Sabina leather convertible bag, wood bangles and Michael Kors cashmere crochet hat.

I’m not fond of dogs..but this puppy is really cute :)

The answer is no, yellow is not my favorite color :p

It matches my mood right now, that’s why.

Obama Fever

Sharing the I-love-Obama disease.

How the world went crazy last week because of him gave me goose bumps! He’s really famous..it’s like as if he’s the President of the World! Hmm.

I’m such a fan! Heh :p Not because everyone else is. But because I find his biography amazing. And of course I think he’s kind, has a warm heart and sincere. Tough challenge awaits him though…iwanan ba naman siya ni Bush ng gyera at recession!

Transition from Bush to Obama:

Several plurkers posted this days ago. Creepy no? Pero in farness, wafu naman yung combination ni Bushama (see middle pic)

While everyone else is analyzing Obama’s speech on how it will change the world, I was busy admiring Michelle Obama’s fashion style. Look at her outfit during Barack Obama’s Inauguration.

Lovely, isn’t it?

She may not have the Beyonce-kind of beauty but she is surely an epitome of posh.

Random trivia of the event:

A. The beautiful white one-shoulder gown was made by a Taiwan designer, Jason Wu.

B. Obama’s Speech Writer is only 26 years old.

C. The lemon grass gown was by Isabel Toledo. I adore the green shoes and green gloves!

D. Inauguration happened last January 20, 2008.

E. History check: It was also on Jan 20 when Former President Joseph Estrada is ousted and succeded by Gloria Macapagal Arroyo (2001) . Same day is also celebrated federal holiday for Martin Luther Jr. (1986)
