BIG BROTHER BIG SISTER is an outreach program run by mountaineering groups in the Philippines. Each year, together with sponsors and volunteers, they carry the school supplies and trek through mountain trails to give them to the children in remote areas.

To vote, you MUST be a Filipino blogger, which means, you need to own a blog. You might be blogging on Blogger, WordPress.Com, Live Journal, Friendster, Multiply, or on a self-hosted blog—it doesn’t matter—the point is, you need to have a blog to vote. Your blog must be established at least three (3) months from today with a minimum of 10 posts.

Currently studying how-to’s and proper coding of email newsletter to match the email cross-browser compatibility. Just like when I thought that I can use CSS and Web 2.0 stuff, I was wrong… I need to go back to the old school basics of HTML. It’s a new challenge for me indeed because it is much harder than coding a web pages. But, I have to bear the pain haha because I have a freelance client that sells a lot of online newsletters.

Another thing that I want to learn is the e-commerce thing. Yeah, I’m trying to figure out how to setup, configure and make a wonderful & safe shopping cart. I know it’s a risky thing but I think it’s going to be worth it. I just need to find a shopping cart software that provides a reliable and safe ecommerce solution and easy to customize. “User functionality friendly” is also a must.

Ohwow. I still can’ believe that I want to do a lot of things – to learn a lot of things. Aside from web designing as profession and blog advertising, I believe ecommerce has a lot to offer. A lot of online business and merchants needs this. Besides, I am also planning to sell something soon – like maybe owned design tees, bags, and shoes. Hmm, how about templates or wordpress themes or an online book sale? Yay, I’m so excited.
